British Championship Rd 2 Desertmartin
Mitchell & Winrow Both Take A Win
The days racing consisted of 4 Quad race groups and 1 sidecar

Race one
Paul Winrow lead the race from start to finish. John Mitchell had a problem at the start line taking off last and finishing 15th. Local Ulster riders Michael McAnaney and Johnny Kelly finished 8th & 9th.
Race Two
John Mitchell was second behind Paul Winrow after the first corner, Mitchell then passed Winrow before the first table top jump on lap 1 and then went on to win the race. Ricky Toye from N.Ireland finished a mighty 7th.

QRI Club Championship Rd1

Tinkerhill
The 12th of April saw the first round of Quadracing Ireland's club championship. The venue was the ever popular Mx circuit Tinkerhill. There were two Quad grades and two solo grade C. After four transponder timed practice/qualifying sessions the times were calculated and the fastest 35 Quads made up the Pro class, the remainder the Pro Am class. This was the same for the grade C solo class. Each class got 3 races and a handycap to finish the day with a bit of fun.

British Quad Mx Championship

Local Riders Break into Top Ten
The first round of the ACU MMX Championship saw a number of Quad Racing Ireland riders travel to England to compete in rd1 of the ultra competitive British Championship at Whiteway Barton in Devon. JMK Honda rider David Wray 17 years old finished overall 10th and Ricky Toye on his Yamaha 450 joint on points in 11th. Well done guys keep it up!!

Nutt Promotions 125/Quad Ulster Championship
